Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
blood in my urine for four days now. I waited, because I had eaten beets four days ago, and I thought that might be causing the red. It does not happen every time I urinate, but it does happen at least once or twice a day. Is this an emergency, or can it wait until I get a regular appointment. It is a 3 day weekend, so first regular appointment would be three days from now. No pain. No burning and no it s not menstrual blood. I am 58 and well past menopause.

You can wait and go for regular check up Meanwhile I advice you to drink plenty of water and cranberry juice.you can get urine examination done in home to rule out infection.if there is any severe pain or massive hematuria then consult your doctor immediately.
