What Causes Hemoglobin Level To Be High?
My 3 year old recently had a well child visit with his pediatrician, in which his hemoglobin level was found to be 15 or slightly higher. His doctor said this was high, but could be due to diet. What is the normal range, and what could cause it to be high?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your hemoglobin level is not high. Its normal. Normal range is 13.0 to 16.0 gm. In children no any serious causes are their for high hemoglobin. Even dehydration can leads to false high hemoglobin. So don't worry about that. Just be relaxed.
