What Causes Herniated Disc In Lower Back Along With Swelling In Calf?
Hi, I have 3 slipped discs in my lower back and sciatica in my right side calf, my calf is a little swollen and my right heel of my foot hurts. I saw a surgeon in 2014 who put me through for a back op which I didnt really want and after seeing the anesthetist I cancelled as she said she possibly couldnt keep me alive as I am a sever asthmatic.....I have had problems with my hips for years and seen quite a few chiropractors who all said my hips are dislocating which I can feel them doing , yet when I told my surgeon they totally ignored this and have never taken xrays of my hips...I am a 47 year old woman I weigh 50kg am a size uk 8 - 10 and about 5 foot 5 ish tall.....I am in sever pain scared and really dont know what to do please can you advise me....Many thanks .....Lois
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if you sacred to operation then the only option remained is medical treatment and physiotherapy, in medicine NSAID can be tried and best is Tab Diclofenac 50 mg, if the operation is hope for this then better to prepared for this, or else talk to surgeon for option hope this information helps.
