What Causes Herpes In Mouth And Genital Area?
My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 months now, so we ve had sex that long. Just a few weeks ago we were both diagnosed with herpes. His mouth and genital and my genital. Neither have had outbreaks before, so as you can see we are both every surprised and hurt. How are we going to live with this? Why did it happen? Even after all these months of being together?

Herpes can exists without any outbreak. This can spread without any symptoms rarely. In girls, many a time the outbreak would not be visible outside and the individual might not be aware that she was infected.
Moreover Herpes is not a life threatening disease and not necessary to trouble you often. So nothing to get excited or depressed.
Consult your physician. You can live without any problem.
