What Causes High BP Along With Anxiety?
sitting at my desk I started yawning, then developed a strange feeling in my sturm / stomach region, checked my b/p and it was 144/81 pulse of 70 @ 2:44, my usual b/p is like 113/65, relaexed. but I also feeling very anxious as well. but there is no actual chest pain and no pain in my jaws or shoulders.

Anxiety causes the release of stress hormones like adrenaline and nor adrenaline. These increase the heart rate, force of contraction of the heart making more blood to pumped into the circulation and make the blood pressure go up.
