What Causes High BP Inspite Of Increased Metpure Intake?

I am a lady-72yrs age. I have increased Metpure XL 23 from one to two tablets a day but my BP remains 170/101 in morning and and 155/91 in the afternoon. I have Uvitis in rt eye for which eye drops are being give by another doctor. BP is not being controlled. Pl suggest

your BP is quite high and as only monotherapy (single drug) is not effective , you should go for combination of two different drugs after consulting your doctor.
