hi doc, my sgpt is 113 and my sgot is 61.. but all my hepa profile is non rective and the ultrasound of hepatobilliary tree & pancreas are all okay,, can you tell me what is the reasons of high sgpt , is it seriour?im worrying about this,, what will be the preventions, diet?/thank you
Hello, thank you for visiting HCM. Elevated liver enzymes are potentially a side effect of statin medications or actually, any number of medications. Before your doctor will give you a diagnosis and let us know himself why your liver enzymes are elevated. Diets are tailored to the diagnosis, not just to a couple of lab values. What did your doctor tell you was the reason? Once you have more information, please come back with the diagnosis and all abnormal lab values, and list of medications.
