General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The white blood cell are very elevated. In such a case there is a source of infection which cause this elevation. I recommend to do a stool test for further evaluation. I also suggest to start a cycle of antibiotics. You can consult your doctor about the prescription. Meanwhile, I suggest to rest, drink liquids and electrolyte solution such as Pedialyte.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
