What Causes High Blood Pressure Along With Lightheadedness?

I am a 62 year old female (healthy). Each morning, I normally take one 240 mg Diltiazem (since A-Fib back in August 2015). Today, I accidentally took one at 10:30am and then again later at 1:30pm. How concerned should I be? I do feel somewhat lightheaded. My blood pressure reads 135/71; 67 pulse

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I recommend you not to take another pill for the next 24 to 48 hours. Keep yourself under observations, measure blood pressure and heart rate. If you feel dizziness and lightheadedness call ER.

At this moment your BP and HR are normal so you don't have to worry about it. Just keep yourself under observations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
