What Causes High Blood Pressure During Pregnancy?

im 34 weeks pregnant and on bp meds; however, my bp is still high and when I just checked it it was 105/99 is that something I should worry about or when should I call my drs or go to the hospital? I am very tired, i cant focus and i have a headache I am 21 years old and I had preeclampsia with my last child

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion 105 is normal but 99 is on higher side.Dont worry the dose adjustment might be necessary.Ultrasound doppler helps in knowing if there is any growth retardation of the baby.The BP is considered to be severe if it more than or equal to 160/110.But as you had past history of prececlampsia you need to be careful.Check daily for fetal movements.Consult doctor if there is headache,blurring of vision,vomitings,heart burn to rule out high BP and imminent symptoms.
