What Causes High Blood Pressure In A 42 Year Old With ESR 56?

hi , i have i am 42 years woman i have high blood presure 140/100 my doctor can not see any reason , recently i did a blood test the only ubnormal result is ESR 56 . normally my esr is high but not to this number.recently i have chist infiction when i did the blood test. what can cuse my blood presure to be high?

Regarding your concern, I would explain that high blood pressure values could be related to the inflammation and infection.

Painkillers used to treat the pain and fever, can raise your blood pressure too.

Coming to this point, there is no need to start any anti-hypertensive therapy.

As soon as the inflammation and infection will be over, your blood pressure values will turn back normal again.
