What Causes High Blood Pressure?

Hi. I am a 23 year old male, height 6 foot, weight 155. I am active, workout regularly, etc...I have also never had any medical conditions related to my heart. My blood pressure tonight read 135/68. I have been watching it for a while now and it routinely reads in the 130's over the mid 60's. Should I be concerned?

Thanks for contacting HCM. Dear patient probably you are using an electronic B.P. measuring equipment. These are known to give unreliable readings. You should get your blood pressure measured by a doctor with mercury sphygmomanometer, that will give you correct reading. Meanwhile the blood pressure readings you have mentioned are with in normal values and should not be a cause for concern. Regards
