What Causes High Body Temperature In A Professional Dancer?

I m a professional Latin dancer. Anytime I am in rehearsal or a show (especially when it s really hot or I m really nervous) my body overheats and I start gagging- depending on the severity of the heat or nerves the gagging can get really bad. Am I the only one?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The heat perception with high body temperature before a demanding task indicate high activity of the underlying sympathetic system of the body releasing stress hormones.

Kindly consult your primary care physician and get prescription of a beta blocker as propranolol or else which serves best to control this issue in a best possible manner.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
