What Causes High Fever Along With Shivering In A Child?
Good morning doctor. My son is 5yrs and 5months old weighing 13kg. He is having high grade fever fluctuating between 99°F to 101°F from the past 3 days. Prior to that he had just finished azithral antibiotics course. At nights his fever is accompanied by shivering. I have been administering Mefanorm 5ml. Can i also give him Dolo 250 syrup at the interval of 2hrs after Mefanorm. Please advise.

fever may be viral.. in case of viral fever.. only symptomatic treatment is given.. like lots of fluids intake... n proper diet.. but also consult physician... to rule out.. underlying cause of fever..n give medicine after their consultation
