What Causes High Fever And Fatigue In An Infant?

my friend 1 year old baby is having symptoms of rash, patches on tonsils, fatigued and high fever of 102-105 for the past 9 days. all tests that were done are pictured below. could someone tell us what this baby should be tested for now? Rapid Flu-negative Rapid Strep-negative CBC-normal WBC-10.9 Urine dip-normal Ear infection found on Tuesday(fluid in his ear) Febrile seizure X1 Temp over 105

Hi,

It is due to parotitis or infection of parotid glands and due to that he also has an ear infection.

There is nothing to worry. Do one thing feed her light, give her soup and fruit drinks.

He also needs antibiotic coverage for few days to control infection. Normally, he will return to health back in one to two weeks. I suggest better is to take her to the emergency room for further evaluation.
