Hi,
Wheezing can occur in a young infant. It is usually due to a viral infection called
bronchiolitis. This infection usually starts as a cold with cough, runny nose, decrease appetite, and, maybe a
fever. As the cold progresses, the infant can start wheezing, increased cough, and breathing rapidly.
Signs of breathing difficulty also include bulging of neck muscles and skin between the ribs on chest caving in. I assume Fepanil is for fever and that is okay to give. Chlorphenaramine and
Phenylephrine should not be given to infants because of their side effects and medical studies have not proven them to be effective.
If your baby is not feeding well and showing signs of breathing difficulty, she needs a medical evaluation as soon as possible. Have your infant seen by her
pediatrician (or if unavailable) or take her to the Emergency Room.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
