Last Friday I picked up my 6 year old son from school because he had a fever and puked after lunch. Every day since then he has woke up without a fever but my bedtime is temperature is up to almost 102. This is happened for five nights and there s no other symptoms to go with it. No respiratory issues, no puking he s feeling fine other than the fever. I haven t taken him to the doctor because during the day time he s fine. I m not sure what to do for him, can you please help.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

After going through your medical details, I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that; it can be food poisoning or enteric fever which may require further evaluation. Kindly get his CBC, CRP, LFTs and USG abdomen and consult a pediatrician with reports.

Hope to have been helpful.

Kind Regards,
Dr Bhanu Partap,
Cardiologist.
