General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

From the medical history of your child, and medications he is currently taking (Artemether with Lumefantrine), it means he is being treated for malaria. This explains fever persisting since 6 days. Loose motion could be an effect of these medications. You can give Tasectan or Peptobismol for the loose motions, probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora.

With regards to feeding, try to introduce foods one by one. Give more porridge and Greek yogurt, hard boiled egg sparkled with oregano. If still no improvement, should consult with his caring pediatrician as might require further more specific treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
