What Causes High Fever, Neck Pain, Body Aches And Chills?

Hi, I have been running a low grade temp (99-100.5) for a couple weeks now. I am so tired, my neck is aching & iI m experiencing different body aches. I m not nauseous or throwing up. I woke up yesterday freezing with a temp of 101.5. Today my temp is back to 100.5. Any thoughts on what it may be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection.

I suggest using painkillers such as Acetaminophen to help with the body aches and chills.

I also suggest to rest and eat a healthy diet and drink liquids.

If the symptoms continue I suggest to do a blood test and urine test for further evaluation.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
