What Causes High Fever With Normal Blood Report?

hello sir/madam. i am 24 years old. on my blood test report polymorphs 79%, Lymphocytes 17%, Eosinophiles 3%,basophils 0% and monocytes 1%. i am having fever. last night it touched 104F. but then it reduced after taking paracetamol. then after 8 hours again the temperature became high. what may be the problem? thanks..

As you didn't mention the duration of fever ( from how many days ).
But such high grade fever with C B C report normal may be due to these reasons , these include.
1 Malaria , sometimes I have noted that such high grade fever may be due to malaria without chills and rigor. High grade fever is one characteristic feature of malaria . Get in blood examination for malarial parasites. Blood film as well as card test.
2 Flu is one another such reason , so take only paracetamol 650 mg ( 500 mg also ) as according to necessity .
Wait for 5-7 days as it is self limiting fever.
3 Typhoid fever may be the reason of fever ( usually after 3-4 days of fever temperature in typhoid fever is of low grade ) .
If fever is from long duration ( >7 days ) get in Widal test for confirmation.
