What Causes High Heart Rate With High BP?
My blood pressure is been a little high but my heart rate has been higher than 115 bpm. I take my blood pressure every morning and every night the highest my pulse has got is 137 bpm. Im scared can not go to my doctor until the next month. I have to the E.R and nothing. What do i do please help

Elevated blood pressure in your case can be secondary to essential hypertension.This can be diagnosed with the help of monitoring of blood pressure in standard 3 positions-supine,standing and sitting.I advise you to have a baseline ecg and 2 dimensional echo to rule out organic heart disease.Restict the intake of salt to less than 6 gm/day.Antihypertensives can be used o control the blood pressure in refractory cases.
