What Causes High Heart Rate?

I have always high a very high heart rate. I have always been very skinny and never have had issues with weight gain. Since I was a child I have been told I have high metabolism. My resting heart rate is usually always between 90 and 100. Been that way as long as I can remember. Is this normal?

Dear Sir/ madam
Thanks for writing to us.
every individual is unique and has different heart rate. Although normal heart rate is said to be in range of 60-100 beats per minute, but it may be out of this range and still normal. This is true if the individual do not have any symptoms attributable to the heart rate.
If you are symptoms free, then this rate is totally acceptable.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
