What Causes High Levels Of WBC And RBC?

I recently had bloodwork done and my WBC and RBC, were both high. My new Dr. noted, that after review of my bloodwork going back to 2012, that my WBC and RBC were high then and I was sent to another doctor, of hematology, for further review. I was tested for Jak 2 mutation and leukemia markers, they were both negative. No follow up occured and no reason was given to what was causing them to be high. I was wondering if CRPS could cause them to be elevated? My CRPS onset was in 2009. Prior to that, no elevated blood counts. Thank you.

Hello,

CRPS can lead to an increase in inflammation and thus leading to increased white blood cells, platelet count and red blood cells. Another possible cause to consider would be emotional stress or dehydration. So, as all your performed tests have resulted normal, there is no reason to worry about it!

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
