What Causes High Metamyelocytes Levels?

My blood tests show high metamyelocytes of 200 and it shows it should be 0. Also my metamyelocytes is 2 which they say is high. I am seeing a Hematologist because of low platelets which today dropped to 66,000. So far they do not have an answer for me. I will see the actual doctor on this Friday . I have been on 60 mg of predisone for 1 month and the platelets have only gone to 81,000. What do I need to ask on Friday to get a better idea of what is going on in my body?

hiii.welcome to our website.i have gone through your reports.increased metamyelocytes and decresed platelets suggests a condition called chronic myeloid leukemia,a type of blood cancer.but i cant assure the diagnosis.because clinical correlation also has to be done.kindly consult your doctor immediately for further follow up.
