Hey, currently am taking medication caz of high blood pressure which was quite high.. 140/104...,now taking losartan h and almodipine 5gm.. My pressure has recently regulated upto 118/87,pulse rate is my worry... atimes over100...Is there any danger???? Thanks
high pulse rate may be due to stress and anemia or side effect of anti hypertensive drugs and no worry of that
detailed answer
medications that lower blood pressure may increase heart rate normally ..you can discuss with your doctor to switch to atenolol drug..also if you are stressed that is enough to increase heart rate..anemia is a common cause also and you can investigate it with CBC test..heart rate up to 110 not a severe problem and no worry of that
hope that helps
