What Causes High Sugar Level While Having Sebaceous Cyst?
my husband has a sebaceous cyst & is a type 2 diabetic. He is on antibiotics since it is infected. He is having it removed 4/18. Meanwhile his blood sugar is way out of wack up to 300 & he isn t eating. He is taking his meds for the diabetes control. Can this all be caused from the infection?

Yes madam,
You guessed it right. Sugars will go up with any sort of bacterial infections. Right now sugar control is important for proper clearance of infection. If sugars are high the infection won't settle. Consult a Diabetologist for sugar control. Once the infection is settled dosage of sugar medicines can be brought down as per the values.
