Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes High Systolic Blood Pressure After A Breast Cancer Surgery?
I have just had a breast cancer surgery and radiation, the fact is my body is not adjusting to the lack of hormones that I took for 30 years, alas I am experiencing menopausal symptoms as well as bp problems, today my bp was 165/74 what do I need to suggest to my MD as far as medication.
I suggest you to control your blood pressure sometimes a day for some days. If the values are high you may need to start anti-hypertensive medications.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anila Skenderi,
General & Family Physician
