I am 14 weeks pregnant, had nausea, vomiting and diarrhea yesterday for which I was treated in the hospital. My wbc count was 16,5, the other tests were all within the norm range (CRP wasn t measured). I did also fall down the stairs two days ago and have some severe bruises on my left side, not sure if they might trigger a higher wbc count. Should I be worried?
u need not to worry too much.as u were admitted at the hospital with ur complaints with nausea ,vomiting, and diarrhea and also u got some bruises so u might have got infection from all these things or it may also happen that u have mild grade persistent fever from a long time and most of the aove u have told about any urine problem,if u have urinary tract infection then u may also have a higher wbc count.consult to physcian also for ur this problem.
