What Causes Hip/stomach Cramps And Darker Urine After Having Unprotected Sex?

Hi, I had a couple questions about what s going on lately with me. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex the day of my ovulation (according to my ovulation calendar, on the 13th of this month) and I keep getting random cramps, near my hips, and stomach, not like usual period cramps (I m not due for 5 days for my period) and today I went pee and my urine was darker than usual and smelt kinda bad, didn t hurt or anything though. I ve been taking a lot of vitamin c too lately, which I thought made your pee brighter. What could be the cause of all this? Am I possibly pregnant?

Hello,

The symptoms you are experiencing is likely due to Urinary tract infection. Urine analysis and culture are required to confirm the diagnosis. So please follow up with your primary provider for further evaluation.

Pregnancy needs to be considered too. If you do not get your period as expected, please be advised to do a home pregnancy test.
