What Causes Hissing Sound In Throat While Breathing Along With Pain In Chest?
Hi, My son complaints of feeling something on his throat like a hairball.. he starts to hiss like a snake but i hear this coming from his throat. its been happening for a week and his chest is starting to hurt from this sudden air exhalations. he does thee hissing all day.. Any Ideas Doctor?

The sound is probably coming from trachea or wind pipe.
Wheeze is young children can be due to allergy, asthma, sleep obstruction etc. I suggest you to consult your pulmonologist for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.
