What Causes Hives After Having Flu Shot?

I received the flu shot a week ago. Two days later I began to break out in hives. Each day my hives have gotten worse. I have been taking benadryl, zyrtec and singular. I have done oatmeal baths, anti itch cream, nothing is helping. I cannot sleep because of the constant itching. What should I do to get ride of the itching and pain?

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Angioneurotic Edema with Vasculitis -due to severe reaction to Flu shot vaccine antigen.
Go to Er and Get Inj.Dexona 2ml stat -Im / and
Tab Avil-25 mg -2 times a day
Tab Dexona -1 x 3 times a day x with reducing doses. over next week.
Plenty of fluids
Discontinue others.
This would help you immediately and would settle in next 3-5 days time.
