What Causes Hoarse Voice Along With Severe Cough?

I have a terrible sounding hoarse voice Muchas and a cough it started with feeling tired and uncomfortable I am taking Robitussen and resting, lots of lemon tea with honey... My throat feels not soar but like it is swollen inside.. What do you think I have?
