What Causes Hoarse Voice With History Of Esophagotomy?
SINCE TWO MONTHS MY VOICE IS SUPPRESSED. I HAVE UNDERGONE TOTAL ESOPHAGOTOMY FOR ESOPHAGUS CANCER. PET SCAN 18/02/2014 IS NORMAL AND CT NECK AND CHEST WITH CONTRAST OF 18/10/2014 ARE NORMAL. THE ONCOSUGEON HAS ADVISED NEUROBION TAB AND ASKED ME TO CONTACT ENT SPECIALIST.
Do u have a tracheostomy by any chance from ur description seems no. If on a stoma- the full scene is different. If not larynx needs to be checked by endodcopy/ rigid 70 deg scopy. Since neck contrast is normal maybe nerve compression or nerve issues need to be ruled out.
