What Causes Hoarseness?

I been having a hoarse voice for couple weeks now it come and goes i take ginger, lime juice, honey, vinegar, and salt mix it goes away for a while but it comes back and sometimes when i talk my throat gets dry but i drink a good bit if fluids tell me what i need to do iam really getting frustrated.

Having hoarseness voice and hard to talk could be a symptom for laryngitis which can be caused by overusing the Vocal cords which lead to oedema on the area. Your natural mixture is pretty spot on. Good job !! but i will suggest you to keep low voice at all time and if its possible to have some silence for 2-3 days to let the vocal cord rest and heals itself. However there are certain foods that you can avoid such as hot,spicy and oily food. Some medication OTC could be purchased and use it accordingly for the next 72hours such as paracetamol,acetaminophen. Thank you.
