What Causes Holes With Black Spec On The Feet?

I noticed a lot of holes on my husbands feet the other night, each one with a black spec in the middle of it. Then tonight he complained of his feet hurting so bad even though he hasn t done a lot of physical activity today. He s 35 6 4 and 230lbs. Is this a fungus? If so, how to we treat it?

Hi

The kind of lesions your husband has developed could either be a fungal infection or it could be due to viral plantar warts .
Fungal infections need to be managed by application of topical antifungal agent along with oral antifungals of required .
Viral warts need to be managed by cautery of the lesion .
See your nearby dermatologist for proper assessment and treatment.
