Hello,

Hot and cold flashes may be due to post-menopause, andropause, infection, rash or anemia. Throat tenderness may be due to pharyngitis, tonsillitis, eustachian tube block or acid reflux etc.

Avoid spicy food and alcohol. Avoid cool drinks and fridge water. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

Use tablet Pantoprazole. If symptoms don't improve, then please consult your physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.
