What Causes Hot And Tingling Pressure In Neck And Arms?

Hi, I am experiencing approximately 4 to 5 hours of a hot tingling pressure in my neck and arm. I was injecting methamphetamine into a vein that s never failed me before, the one in the crook of my elbow. Its a very prominent vein and when i drew back the plunger i got blood but coulst not see a difference in color as if i hit an artery. The first thing i felt when i started to depress the plunger was a shooting warmth not like missing, localized to the elbow crook area. i pulled it out and found the vein started over. Got blood and finished my shot. Within minutes my hand a nd neck were numb and hot. The heat has slowly spread up my neck and hsa begun to spread to face. Please help i freaking out and could die.

Hi,

It is important to seek immediate medical attention if you are experiencing symptoms after injecting drugs. Hot tingling pressure in the neck and arms, along with numbness and heat spreading to the face, could be a sign of a serious medical condition such as an allergic reaction or nerve damage. Injecting drugs also increases the risk of infection and other complications.

It is important to seek medical attention as soon as possible to prevent any potential harm to your health. You can call your local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital emergency department. It is also important to be honest with the medical staff about your drug use, as this can help them provide you with the appropriate care and treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hello,

Methamphetamine abuse commonly leads to serious health problems. You are suggested to get connected with a detox center that will help you gradually and successfully quit meth intake. Go to ER and get examined, gets all tests and investigations done and get treated before your symptoms worsen.

Your symptoms are indicative of developing neuropathy, it may lead to pain, paresthesia, or weakness of the facial muscles, nerve damage, risk of stroke. Neglect can cause bell's palsy, partial or complete paralysis. Overuse of meth can raise blood pressure and may cause hot flashes. Chronic high blood pressure can damage arteries, causing them to harden and block blood flow to various organs and also cardiac damage.

Meth use poses an increased chance of stroke, and hence brain damage. This can lead to memory loss, partial or total paralysis, loss of speech, cognitive impairment, and even death. Get clinically examined and evaluated by a Neurologist and get all required tests and investigations done.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
