What Causes Hot Flashes And Nervousness With Normal Thyroid Level?

I have been on the combi-patch for 5 yrs. I am now starting some hot flashes again, nervousness, and fatigue. I had my thyroid and other labs checked and they are always fine. I am now 64 yrs old, does it get at a point where the patch no longer works, and how do you taper off of it

Dear- You can start tapering down the patch. I depends of how often you change it. If you have the one that you change every week, the do it for one week on and one week off for 1 month then one week every month for 2 month and discontinue. Hormone replacement has a period of 6-10 years, so you might be over due for it.
