What Causes Hot Flashes And Weight Gain Post Cervix Removal?
I am 42,I have had cervical cancer, resulting in no cervix,I haven t had a period in 2 months, little weight gain, weird dreams suddenly, hot flashes for awhile but has stopped, tired no energy! Is this the beginning of menopause or could I possibly be pregnant?
Hello Dear. After your cervical removal, there will be hormonal imbalance in the body. There is also a possibility that you could be going to menopause. The hot flushes are typical menopausal symptoms. Kindly consult your gynecologist and discuss about the option of hormone replacement therapy which is given to combat these menopausal symptoms.
Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you. All the best With warm regards Dr Sanjay Kini
