What Causes Hot Flashes During Post Menopausal Period?

I had a TVH in 1996 when I was 35. I was told five years later that I was post-menopausal after a pelvic ultra sound. I was very ill after that surgery and did not notice menopause symptoms. Now, almost 20 years later I am suddenly getting hot flashes. What s up with that? I also have IC and pg dumping syndrome, but function pretty well, considering.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, that may not be menopause when you were explained in 1996, if you feel hot flush right now the this could be actual menopause, and this is nothing to worry, menopause is entirely depends upon the hormone level, as a matter of fact this is not the disease nor this is the pathology but this is physiology and very precisely it is feedback, just take it easy and no need to worry, hope this information helps, take care.
