What Causes Hot Flashes Undergoing The Premenopausal Symptoms?

Hi, I have been widowed now 5 years from my husband of 28 years. A couple of months after his passing I starting having pre menopausal symptons. I have been celebat since my husband been gone and the heat and flashes are like a death sentence. I am 51 and have always been athletic and in great shape. The menopausal thing, how can I escape it. I would rather go against a big brown bear than to deal with this. I am so miserable. Elaine

You definitely need hormone replacement therapy.
Please consult your doctor and get a prescription for that.

Remember, it is a phase, will pass.
Eating sensibly, exercise and yoga / meditation will also help, as will positive thinking.
