What Causes Hot Flashes While On Anastrozole?

Hi. I had been taking Anastrozole after a mastectomy, and stopped about two weeks ago, not having finished the first month. I was having horrid hot flashes, which have gotten better but not gone away. I do now have a very persistent cough, which I m told may also be a side effect. What can I do to make it stop? I sing in a choir with a concert tomorrow.

It’s quite common and is due to lack of estrogen. Nothing much to worry and drink plenty of water.
