What Causes Hot Sensation In The Body?
This started three days ago. I had an episode starting first with a slight sensation in my head, and then started at my feet and then rising up through my entire body as an extreme hot sensation. I have had a total of 5 of these episodes now in this 3 day period, and each one only lasts a total of about 30-60 seconds. I am a 69 year old woman with no medical conditions except asthma.

as considering age about 69 years. female it indicates may be you are suffering from menopausal symptoms
menopause- it is an normal change occurs in femmale with increasing age
it occurs due to decrease function of ovary like decrease in estrogen secretion by ovarian follicle,
it occurs in females after 45 yearsof age
hit flushes _patients complains if release of vapour from body/body becomes hot
thus lasts for few seconds, it occurs 50_60 times a day it is associated with night sweating
it disturbs females mental balance,decrease in sleep,decrease in interest in every work
treatment includes wearing light cloths,always be under air,cold atmosphere, avoid spicy foods,if these symptoms not reduced so by,oral estrogen containing hormonal therapy is used
