I am 47 years old, marrie,d and don t have children. My wife is going to be 41 soon. We are interested in having a child now. We tried last year, conceived, but lost the child after 2 months of pregnancy. The symptom was Fetal Hydrops, but we don t know the cause. Please advise. - John
Fetal hydrops can be caused by fetal anemia in some cases, this may have been the cause for you and your wife.
If she is still having regular normal periods then it is possible that she should be able to conceive but you should consider waiting only 6 months of trying naturally. If this does not occur, then the assistance of a fertility specialist may be needed.
I hope this helps
