What Causes Hyperhidrosis?

In my sleep, I ve been excessively sweating. I wake up and the blankets are actually wet. It took me awhile to put everything together but the sweat actually smells sort of sweet and is lingering on all my sheets, my jacket. What could this be a result of? Anything drug related?
