What Causes Hypertension, Fatigue And Nausea When Diagnosed With Renal Artery Stenosis?

I have been having uncontrollable high blood pressure, rash, fatigue, swelling, nausea, chills and a metal taste in my mouth for the past 4-5 months. My heart doctor has changed my bp meds five times and its not as high but not good either. However, the meds have made the swelling worse. I was diagnosed with a 70% blockage in my left renal artery......what is your recommendation??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you need to correct the renal stenosis to correct hypertension. I think intervention is needed as soon as possible and a stent may need to be put.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
