What Causes Icy Feeling On The Right Side Of The Chest When Exercising?

I get an icy feeling down the right side of my chest when I do strenuous exercise. It is along a line from two inches below my collar bone down to a spot about 4 inches below that. Then it develops into sharp pain at that spot that gets so intense after a minute or two that it forces me to stop. It feels like I can t breath. It takes a while afterward to settle down. I m 49, and it has done it all my life. It happens if I run. I just had a stress test done yesterday. The results aren t back yet. When they got my heart rate up to their goal of 140 I got the icy feeling, but they didn t go far enough to get to the pain part that I get.
