What Causes Imbalance, Confusion, Ear Pain, Weakness And Hearing Loss?

My husband has symptoms including imbalance, confusion, throbbing in his right ear, weakness and general agitation. An ENT diagnosed him with a 65% loss in his balance system and 10% loss in hearing in his right ear. He suggested Vestibular rehab. Are there other potential causes of the symptoms we should be investigating?

vestibulocochlear system is mainly responsible for the balancing system,
from what you said there is no need for further investigations
i would advise you to follow the ENT advise.
