What Causes Imbalance In The Body And Nausea?

I am a 63 year old female in overall good health. I ve been experiencing loss of balance and nausea (not vomiting) for the last 24+ hours. I m having difficulty walking in a straight line and keep tipping to my right into walls. I was told years ago that I had labyrinthitis, something that would not go away. Others say labyrinthitis is a temporary condition, so I may have something else. I ve had some dizziness in the last 6 months, but nothing this sudden. Because I feel ill, I ve lost my appetite. Medications include Lipitor (20MG), and Bupropion HCL (150 MG). I m supposed to drive to families home tomorrow (1 hour), but not sure I should go. I just don t feel well and not sure what do. Please advise Karen:)

Hello,

As a first line management you can take drugs like betahistine for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persists better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
