What Causes Inability To Lift Arm Above Head After Injuring Shoulder?

I went outside and I was sledding and I fell and hit my shoulder on the ground and then when I went inside I couldn t put my left arm above my head for more than 10 seconds. It doesn t hurt it just feels like there s something pulling it down. Any idea on what I did?

Hello,welcome to HCM.
From your history and symptom it seems to be a trauma induced spasm of shoulder muscle like deltoid supraspinatus.
Take NSAID+THIOCOLCHICOSIDE Combination.for a few days.
Hand rest
Voveran spray.also consult your physician if persists.
